Terms of Service

Last updated: May 14, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Watchman House Co., LLC, a Florida limited liability company ("Watchman House," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using our service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

Watchman House is a Christian homeschool operating system. The service provides curriculum planning, lesson tracking, state compliance information, ESA funding guidance, transcripts and record-keeping, and related tools for homeschool families and co-ops.

3. Accounts and Eligibility

  • You must be 18 or older to create an account.
  • You are responsible for activity under your account, including keeping your password secure.
  • One account per family, except on a co-op plan that explicitly permits multiple families.
  • You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date.

4. Subscription and Billing

Current plans:

  • Single — $12/month or $97/year (one child).
  • Family — $24/month or $197/year (2–6 children).
  • Registered — $39/month or $327/year (unlimited children, full compliance suite).
  • Add-ons (Transcript Builder, Portfolio Builder, Grade Book) are available to Registered subscribers for an additional fee.
  • Founding family codes apply once per customer and only to annual plans.
  • Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel.
  • You can cancel anytime from your account settings. Service continues until the end of the period you have already paid for. We do not provide refunds for partial periods.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe. Stripe's terms also apply to the payment transaction.
  • We may change pricing for future billing periods. We will give you advance notice and an opportunity to cancel.

5. Acceptable Use

  • Do not share your account across multiple families. Each family needs its own subscription.
  • Do not reverse-engineer, scrape, or bulk-copy our platform or content.
  • Do not use the platform for non-homeschool commercial purposes.
  • Do not upload content that is illegal, infringing, or harmful to others.

6. Content Ownership

We own the platform, our software, our curricula, and the Watchman Series materials. You may use them for your family's homeschool through your subscription, but you do not receive any other rights in them.

You own the data you put into the service — child names, lesson notes, scripture memory tracking, photos, and similar records. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, process, and display that data solely as needed to operate and improve the service for you.

7. State Compliance Information Disclaimer

  • We provide general state compliance information for educational purposes only.
  • We are not lawyers and we do not provide legal advice.
  • You are responsible for verifying current requirements with your state Department of Education and, where appropriate, consulting HSLDA or qualified legal counsel.
  • We are not liable for compliance failures, missed deadlines, or actions taken (or not taken) based on information from the service.

8. ESA Funding Disclaimer

  • We provide general information about Education Savings Account ("ESA") and similar funding programs.
  • Eligibility, approval, and reimbursement decisions are made by state agencies, not by us.
  • Unless we specifically state otherwise, we are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with any state ESA program.

9. Religious Content Notice

Watchman House is a Christian homeschool platform. Bible curriculum is offered in Evangelical, Reformed, and Catholic traditions. You may choose which tradition (or none) is right for your family. Other curricula in the platform are not religious in nature.

10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do our best to keep the service running, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure access.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amount you have actually paid us in the twelve (12) months immediately before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.

11. Termination

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or use the service in a way that harms others or our business. On termination, your right to use the service ends; data export remains available for a reasonable window where practical.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Pinellas County, Florida, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and notify account holders by email. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
